Before joining Buried Hill in April 2010, Peter Kallos was Executive Vice-President of Petro-Canada’s International and Offshore business. He was responsible for leading and growing their International portfolio and Eastern Canadian offshore business from 2003-2010.

Mr. Kallos began his career in 1982 as a Production Engineer with Marathon Oil and Carless Exploration. He joined Enterprise Oil in 1988 as a Petroleum Engineer, leading a team developing the Nelson Field in the U.K. sector of the North Sea. After working in several management positions within Enterprise Oil, ranging from Business Development Manager responsible for acquisitions and disposals to Chief Executive of the Company’s Italian subsidiary, Mr. Kallos was appointed to Enterprise Oil’s Executive Committee as head of the Company’s U.K. North Sea business.

Following the takeover of Enterprise Oil by Royal Dutch Shell in 2002, Mr. Kallos worked as the External Affairs Director of Shell Exploration and Production U.K.

Mr. Kallos holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Applied Physics from Strathclyde University, Glasgow and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh.

Mr. Barmby’s 30 year career in the oil and gas industry is distinguished by creating shareholder value consisting of hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue increases and cost reductions, covering all operations from spud to sales. This was accomplished while maintaining an unblemished Safety, Health and Environmental record in unique and challenging circumstances worldwide.

Starting as a roughneck in his teens and progressing to Director, Exploration & Production, Ron has enjoyed notable success in Drilling & Completions, Oil & Gas Production, Gas Processing, Contracts & Negotiations and Acquisitions & Divestitures. He has been responsible for the success of major projects and corporations, which included assignments in Canada, First Nations within Canada, Australia, the Middle East, the Far East and Africa. Ron has a multidiscipline, multicultural and multinational track record of running exemplary oil and gas operations, and has published several technical and economic papers for conferences around the globe.

Prior to joining Buried Hill Energy, Ron was the Senior Operations Executive who in a span of 5 years rescued a failed Canadian exploration and production company. This organization was experiencing a 50% per annum production decline and a 40% reserve write-down, with Ron’s efforts re-establishing the company as a stable, publicly traded Income Trust to create a new successful exploration and production company. During this cycle of rescue, stabilization and growth, Ron’s work was nominated jointly by resident First Nations and the Alberta Government (Environment) for the prestigious Emerald Award, for exemplary environmental leadership in developing a sour oilfield within a United Nations Ramsar site (the aquatic equivalent of a World Heritage Site).

At previous positions Ron has drilled and completed wells around the globe, including deep, high pressure, high H2S wells and many considered “Critical Status” by the appropriate regulatory authorities. He has been instrumental in the design, construction and running of many gas processing plants and gas gathering systems including deepcut, sour, and high volume plants. Ron also has extensive background in the fields of artificial lift, oil batteries and Internet based instrumentation. Mr. Barmby has a Masters of Engineering Degree in Petroleum Engineering (majoring in Reservoir Engineering), and while at Amerada Hess was privileged to be selected for extensive in-house financial training from Harvard and Stanford Professors.

Mr. Leonard joined Buried Hill Energy as Director, Corporate Development in 2005. Mr. Leonard has twenty-five years of experience in the international E&P industry. Starting in operations, Mr. Leonard subsequently moved into business development and general management roles, holding senior management positions with both UK and Canadian companies over the past ten years.

Prior to joining Buried Hill Energy, Mr. Leonard was Vice President Acquisitions for PetroKazakhstan, a dynamic Central-Asia focused Canadian integrated oil company. Over a period of three years, Hugh was responsible for the development and execution of PetroKazakhstan’s acquisitions, as well as the creation and management of a multidisciplinary team of industry specialists based in the UK. PetroKazakhstan was sold in October 2005 to CNPC for US$4.18 billion.

Before joining PetroKazakhstan, Mr. Leonard spent twelve years working for Enterprise Oil Plc, the UK’s largest independent E&P Company, where most recently he was responsible for developing Enterprise’s Russia strategy as New Business Manager- FSU . Mr. Leonard completed the first two equity investments made by Enterprise in the Khanty Mansiysk Oil Corporation (KMOC), a US independent operating in West Siberia. He was subsequently seconded to KMOC in Moscow for 2 ½ years as Executive Vice President, responsible for building the company’s technical functions, both to support its ongoing developments and new business activity. KMOC was ultimately acquired by Marathon Oil in 2003.

Preceding his work with Enterprise, Mr. Leonard also worked for Burmah Castrol Plc, Carless Petroleum Ltd, and Kelt UK Ltd. He has worked in the UK, West Africa, USA, Australia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Russia and Kazakhstan, and has a proven track record of strong cross-cultural performance. He has a wide exposure to the different facets of the E&P business, including business development, sub-surface evaluation, commercial and financial reporting, HSEQ, and operations, together with extensive experience of different operational and business environments and the challenges they offer.

Mr. Clift was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Buried Hill Energy in September 2007. This appointment follows Mr. Clift’s most recent role as Senior Vice President Finance & CFO for PetroKazakhstan Inc. During Mr. Clift’s five years with this organization he was also the Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer for PetroKazakhstan’s Kazakhstan based companies where he was resident in Almaty Kazakhstan. In October of 2005 PetroKazakhstan was sold to CNPC for $4.18 billion or $55 per share.

Prior to joining PetroKazakhstan Mr. Clift spent seven years with Wintershall AG. Mr. Clift was the Vice President and CFO for Wintershall’s Canadian operations when in early 1997 he relocated to Wintershall’s Libyan operations as the Finance and Administration Manager. He subsequently assumed the additional role of Deputy General Manager.

Before joining Wintershall, Mr. Clift spent seven years with Deloitte and Touche Chartered Accountants, with the last three years as a Senior Manager on the oil and gas team.

Mr. Clift is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelors of Commerce degree. Prior to attending University he was employed for six years in the oilfield services industry in Alberta.

Mr. O’Shaughnessy has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, the majority of those years being involved in marketing natural gas and crude oil within North America.

Prior to joining Buried Hill Energy, Mr. O’Shaughnessy was Director, Asset Origination for BP Canada Energy Company. In that capacity he was responsible for business development and commercial opportunities around BP’s Eastern Canadian and U.S. assets. He successfully structured and negotiated long term gas transportation and storage positions for BP and entered into long term gas supply arrangements with U.S. northeast utilities and Canadian power generators. He was also involved in working groups evaluating the Alaska and Mackenzie Delta pipelines and Canadian LNG projects.

Prior to joining BP, Mr. O’Shaughnessy was Marketing Manager at Paramount Resources, a Canadian Intermediate Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company, responsible for the natural gas, crude oil and Liquids marketing as well as the corporate price risk management program.

Previously Mr O’Shaughnessy was employed in Marketing and Finance related capacities at Summit Resources, Petro-Canada, Gulf Canada and Amerada Hess. He is currently a sessional instructor for an Oil and Gas Marketing course at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

Mr. MacDiarmid joined the Buried Hill Energy team in 2008. Previously, Don was an energy law partner in Calgary with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and prior to that with Bennett Jones LLP. Don‘s expertise includes a broad range of experience in both domestic and international energy transactions.

Don’s diverse legal experience within the energy sector includes asset and share purchase/sales transactions, new project development activities, project financing, cogeneration and independent electrical power projects, facility engineering, procurement and construction contracts, operating agreement disputes, marketing of oil and natural gas liquids and electrical power and licensing and use of proprietary technology in oilfield applications.

Don taught a continuing education course in oil and gas law at the University of Calgary for two years, and also taught a similar course to Russian exchange students at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Prior to attending law school, Don practiced as a Petroleum Engineer for five years.
